The Schily-Bourne Shell was derived from the OpenSolaris sources and is actively maintained.

The Schily-SunPro Make was derived from the OpenSolaris sources and is actively maintained.

CPP is a K&R cpp derived from the original cpp sources from John F. Reiser and is actively maintained.

cstyle is a C-indentation lint tool derived from the OpenSolaris sources and is actively maintained.

spatch is derived from the last patch from Larry Wall, POSIX compliant and using a 1-clause BSD license.

SCCS is derived from OpenSolaris sources and is actively maintained.

star is the oldest free TAR implementation, started in 1982 and is maintained by Jörg Schilling.
